🌟 Celebrating Our Success Together! 🌟
As we settle into another exciting school year, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some fantastic achievements and thank our incredible children, staff and families for helping make them possible.
Over the last year, we have seen some wonderful improvements across the school:
📚 More children in Early Years achieved a Good Level of Development.
📚 Outcomes at the end of Year 2 improved.
📚 The percentage of children achieving Age Related Expectations in Reading, Writing and Maths at the end of Key Stage 2 was the highest it has been in the last four years.
📚 Our Year 4 pupils continue to perform above the national average in the Multiplication Tables Check.
These achievements are a reflection of the high-quality teaching and support our staff provide every day, combined with the encouragement and commitment families give at home. Thank you!
One area we are particularly proud of is our continued improvement in attendance. Since 2023, whole-school attendance has risen from 89% to 93%. We know that children make the best progress when they are in school every day, which is why attendance remains such an important focus for us and that this continues to improve and hopefully get closer to the National Average of 94.5%
💙 As we continue our journey together, there are some simple but powerful ways you can support your child's success:
✅ Ensure your child attends school every day they are well enough to do so.
✅ Read with your child for at least 10 minutes whenever you can.
✅ Help them practise spellings and times tables regularly when these things are sent home.
✅ Attend parents' evenings and workshops to learn how you can support areas such as Phonics, Reading and SATs.
We are incredibly proud of our children and families. Peel Park has built a fantastic reputation across Bradford as one of the most inclusive schools in the district, and that reputation is something we all share.
