Wow, such lovely Blooming Together with Northern Rose sessions today. 9 families attended the morning session and 8 families attended the afternoon session. This included 6 new families to our Blooming Together with Northern Rose family 😍. To date (since April 2026) we have welcomed over 50 families to our family sessions.

Feedback from families today was as follows:

"It was our first time coming today and we've both had such a lovely time"

"My girls really enjoyed the owl babies theme today. The sensory lights in the tent, the playdough owls and small world animals really brought the story to life for them. They love small world animals and the variety of different ones today was excellent".

Join us again next week for our theme 'October magic' where we'll be joined by the characters from Winnie the witch and Room on a broom. There'll also be pumpkin sensory play and a couple of friendly spiders.

Wow, such lovely and very busy Blooming Together with Northern Rose family sessions today. We enjoyed exploring lots of different low cost/no cost mark marking activities. We made marks in cornflour, on sensory bags, in crazy foam, paint, rice, on whiteboards and on cardboard on the floor. It was also so lovely to see our wonderful Blooming Together with Northern Rose volunteers getting involved and enjoying making their own pictures too. Join us again next Monday for an 'owl babies' inspired session.

We believe children learn best when they are engaged, interested and having fun. That’s why our tuition is play-based, combining learning with your child’s interests and strengths to help them build confidence as well as develop their academic skills.

Join us tomorrow (Monday 28th September) for more Blooming Together with Northern Rose sessions at the Mayfield centre (9.30am-11am) or Great Horton Community Hub (12.30pm-2pm). Our theme is 'Marvelous Mark Making' and we'll have lots of fun messy and non messy mark making activities on offer 😃
