We’re looking for Community Council Members to join our Academy Community Councils.

Academy Community Councils are the local committees that help our academies provide the best opportunities for children and young people.
You don’t need to work in education or have governance experience.

We’re looking for people who care about their community, want young people to succeed and are happy to bring their own perspective to the table.

Training and support are provided.

We’re so glad that everyone attending Bradford Inclusive Disability Service ‘s Stay and play at our school are having so much fun!

The service provides so much for young people with SEND across Bradford. We host the Toy Library regularly at school, where you can borrow exciting toys, and for 2 weeks in the summer holidays B.I.D.S run their stay & play sessions from our school, meaning our pupils are already familiar with the environment and can still access the fun they access whilst in school, like swimming & rebound!

We’ve had the best time easing into the summer holidays at Holiday Club! ☀️

Over 55 pupils accessed 2 days of free holiday club over the last 2 weeks. Themed days were filled with lots of exciting activities, from swimming & rebound, to crafts and sensory play opportunities!! 💦

We were pleased to secure a ‘short breaks grant’ from Bradford Council which helped us ensure we could offer free places to more families by employing more staff to work the holiday club & meet everyone’s needs! Thank you!

We hope you all have a fabulous summer break, we look forward to seeing you all in September! ☀️

🤩 Graduation for our brilliant year 6’s 🤩

We’re so proud of how far you’ve all come, and can’t wait to hear about your future adventures at high school!

We loved celebrating our year 6’s with their families. Each pupil had some heartfelt words spoken about their personal Delius journey, before strutting it down the red carpet to a song of their choice!

We will miss you all! ⭐️

Messy morning madness for our BD3 reward morning! 💦

Team Earth won the most golden house points this year so pupils in this team were treated to a messy morning, as chosen by our Academy Council!

From coloured rice & pasta, to sticky gooey slime. We even had an edible beach and a hugeeee water station which wasn’t complete without a paddling pool and bubbles! 🔴🟡🟢

To finish each session pupils also had a foam party!! 🫧

Congrats to all in Team Earth - Team Fire, Team Air & Team Water will be hot on your heels to win the next reward day!!

Team Water at our BD7 site had a blast at their BOOMCHIKKABOOM reward disco this afternoon! ⭐️🤩

Pupils have been working hard to earn golden tokens for their achievements throughout the year, and Team Water totalled up the most! 🥇

In spring term our academy council voted on a reward afternoon the winning house would get at the end of the year. They chose from a huge range of experiences, from animal encounters, messy play days and a boomchikkaboom disco! The academy council agreed their friends would love this the most! 💃🕺

Team Earth, Team Fire and Team Air will be working hard in Autumn term to earn the most & get the next reward treat!

Well done Team Water! 💧

Pupils within our Early Years and Lower Primary classes had lots of farm yard fun at Piglets Adventure Farm yesterday! 🚜

There was a whole host of playgrounds to choose from including an indoor play barn with slides and a sand pit!

When outside, pupils loved heading down to the beach area to dig for treasure and play in the water ways! 🏖️

The bouncing pillows were a firm favourite alongside the tractor rides! 🚜

Let’s not forget the amazing animals pupils got to meet - from sheep & ginnea pigs to an alpaca! Some pupils even had the opportunity to meet the animals up close! Everyone was very gentle!

We are so proud of our youngest pupils in school for tackling a big trip like this with such confidence, & great listening! We are so proud of everyone for having such a great day out! ⭐️
