I teach Safe Driving For Life, regardless of age and experience. Competitive prices - just call me on the number below! I have been teaching for 14 years. I teach in a Toyota Yaris, 2 years old, in electric blue. I cover all areas and I am flexible enough to go further afield. From March 24th 2017, we moved to Denholme, near to Halifax and Keighley, and will from then on be building up my business
over there in West Yorkshire, covering Bradford, Skipton and other areas surrounding these towns. I do know these areas fairly well, having lived in Halifax and Keighley for most of my life.I have had pupils with tests at York, Malton, Pontefract, Scunthorpe, Northallerton, Harrogate, Doncaster, Hull and Huddersfield, so I have got to know areas enough to take on pupils elsewhere. I can teach anybody who is prepared to learn regardless of age or experience, I do rather well with more nervous drivers...patience and time and commitment. I teach at the rate appropriate for the pupil, never putting a pupil in a situation they couldn't cope with, but building up over time, their confidence and skills and hoepfully their attitude to drive defensively and appropriately. I have taught pupils with learning difficulties, full licence holders too who have trouble with certain aspects of driving, pupils who have failed previously with other instructors and sorted out their driving problems, more mature pupils as well as the usual 17/18 year olds.If you have the desire and want to learn, or know somebody who'd like to re start lessons after a break, anybody who'd benfit from extra practice with certain aspects of driving whether it be parking, inner city driving or motorways...then give me a call or send an email with any questions relating to driving lessons, on the contact details below. Excellent. It's pleasing to know that tests will continue for the whole route even if a candidate has committed a serious fault. Pupils pay £62 for a practical driving test to only potentially have 5 minutes. It hasn't been fair.

14 October 2021 DVSA staff to strike over safety concerns next week Driving examiners will take 2 days strike action next week over a new unsafe testing regime being introduced by DVSA. Up to 1000 PCS members will take to picket lines on Monday because bosses are pushing for new 8 test-a day regime....
Unbelievable. We have a massive backlog of driving tests and examiners decide to take industrial action because they've been asked to do more daily tests.

PCS (Public and Commercial Services Union) members working for DVSA as driving examiners, and their line managers, have voted to support strike action and action short of strike in defence of their working terms and conditions.

For pupils who are looking to book their theory test soon,a new booking system up and running from tomorrow.
New theory test booking system
When the new system goes live, all car, motorcycle, lorry and bus theory tests from 6 September 2021 will be available to book.

Just to let pupils and parents know, I've checked this morning on availability for practical driving tests at all the local driving test centres and there is absolutely none available. From Skipton to Heckmondwike, Huddersfield to Bradford Thornbury there is nothing. Pupils have tests booked up as far as November. I think it will be sometime time before they releasing dates for December.
The situation is stalemate.
On another note, I wonder if somebody could help me. Up until April I've been able to post as 'Handbrake n Neutral driving school' but recently it won't allow me to do this, as you see, it's posting as me yet I've gone onto my business page to write this. Does anybody know why this happens?
