🎮 GCSE Chemistry Cheat Codes 🎮
Most students don’t realise the periodic table is basically giving you answers in the exam.
In this video I go through:
⚛️ Electron shells
⚡ Ion charges
🧪 Reactivity trends
☢️ Transition metals
…plus some of the patterns and shortcuts that make GCSE Chemistry much easier to understand.
⚠️ May contain extreme exam techniques. Damien Stringer

The periodic table is basically a free cheat sheet… if you know how to use it properly.
⚛️ Electron shells
⚡ Ion charges
🧪 Reactivity trends
☢️ Transition metals
Most students memorise chemistry.
Top students spot patterns.

Still losing marks on “explain” questions?
It’s not your knowledge—it’s your structure.
Explain questions =
Cause → Effect → Outcome
Fix this and marks jump fast.

You’ve revised. You know the content.
So why are you still dropping marks on “explain” questions?
Because you’re answering in the wrong order.
Most students go:
❌ Outcome → Cause
Examiners want:
✅ Cause → Effect → Outcome (CEO)
That’s the difference between 2–3 marks and full marks.
Comment CEO and I’ll send you the method 👇
Everyone says take your time in exams…
so I tested it.
I did the same GCSE Chemistry paper two ways:
⚡ Fast → 83/100
🧠 Smarter → 99/100
The difference wasn’t going slower…
it was giving myself time to think, then moving on.
And using the time at the end to check my answers — I picked up 2 extra marks just from that.
It’s not about going fast or slow…
it’s about knowing when to move on.
Do you usually run out of time… or finish early?
Most students don’t lose marks because they don’t understand the science…
they lose them because of how they write their answers.
This answer got 3/6 — and it’s exactly why students get stuck at grade 4/5.
I focus on fixing this:
✔ 6-mark questions
✔ Required practicals
✔ Exam technique
I’ve got a small GCSE Science group starting Wednesday.
Only a few spaces left.

Most students lose marks on 6-mark questions in every science exam.
Fix this and grades jump fast.
Comment “BOOST” and I’ll send details.
Most students lose marks on 6-mark GCSE science questions because they don’t structure their answers.
I use the SMART-G method to help students turn weak answers into 5–6 mark answers.
