As our third academic year comes to a close, we are filled with so many emotions.
We have said yet again "goodbye" to some of our young people who are moving onto new adventures. We will miss them dearly but we are immensely proud of their achievements and grateful to have been apart of their transformational journey. Wishing you every success for your futures!
How incredible are these three personalised cards made by a student and gifted to those that were leaving. 👌
Thank you to our wonderful staff team who are so dedicated and passionate about creating better outcomes for young people. Thank you for welcoming our students and their families every session and providing an environment that helps them thrive.
We hope all our young people and their families enjoy the summer break and we look forward to seeing you all again in September for another fantastic year!🌱

Lighter evenings and a little bit of ☀️ have been very welcome this week and the second half of our Spring Term has begun 🌱
There has been a lot of talk about SEND reforms since Monday but we would like to reassure you that we will continue to be here for all our families and young people as nothing has currently changed in law.
We will stand with you, campaigners and advocates through the consultation period to ensure your voices are heard about what SEND reform must look like.

We hear often “but they could do it yesterday” or “it went really well last week”. “Why won’t they now?”
It’s Can’t not Won’t and so many factors play a part in that - could be linked to the environment, sensory sensitivities, a stress response, a need for autonomy … and sometimes it’s impossible to explain the inertia.
When anxiety is high, we look at ways in which we can reduce demands and vice versa.

As we begin the new year, our commitment to supporting autistic and PDA learners remains unwavering. Our dedicated team will continue to provide a safe, flexible, and nurturing environment where individual needs are understood, strengths are celebrated, and trust is built every day.
Here’s to another year of connection, growth, and positive progress—together. 🌱
Whilst re-engaging with adults and peers, our young people have been sharing news on tv favourites, music and world news; making it in despite the ice. ❄️
