YES - Youth & Education Support We are an independent group of aviation enthusiasts who want to encourage everyone to get involved in all forms of aviation.

Aviation Activity Days at Audley End

The activities will start at 10:00 each day and following a safety briefing, will include a selection from the following;

How you can become involved as an aviation enthusiast as a hobby or career.
Theory of flight on the whiteboard at the back of the Hangar.
A look around the various flying machines in the hangar.
Air Law on the whiteboard to include rules about models and Drones.
Paper Planes making and flying.
Pre-flighting a real aircraft.
A visit to the Vintage Fabrics restoration hangar.
An introduction to the jobs at an airport & possible careers in Aerospace.
The activities will complete at 16:00 each day and lunch will be provided or bring along your own lunch and drinks if you prefer.

Some additional items which can rotate between the days may be;

A visit to IMT aviation at Wendens Ambo, Saffron Walden.
Model aircraft flying demonstration by a BMFA (British Model Flying Association) member.
Basic engineering using a knock apart Pedal plane.
Arrival of a guest in their flying machine with a talk.
Places are limited to 10 participants every day. To book your place, please pay £80 per youngster into the YES Account –
