Leaps and Bounds Pottery Classes

This lovely lot took a breather from the scorching heat this week to create with clay.
Some really impressive mini sculptures, dinosaurs, cats and one for the Studio Ghibli fans! As well as some excellent throwing on the wheel👌

Ted came along to my Pottery Taster Class and made this wonderful slab pot.
He was trying to create a wooden tankard feel, I think he nailed it!

I spent a lovely few of hours with the wonderful volunteers at 15 Days In Clay recently. Everyone threw some great pots on the wheel. I also had a bit of a sneaky peak at some of the work created by the artists for their 2026 exhibition at Durlston County Park in September. It will be a 'feast' for the eyes!!🎂😋

Laura, Marc and Elsa joined me yesterday for a bit of quality, creative family time.
I was seriously impressed with their throwing and handbuilding skills! They were all first timers at the pottery wheel and just look at the pots they all produced 🤩
I think ceramics must be in their genes!
