🌊🏖️ Seaside Sensory Fun! 🏖️🌊

Today our little explorers brought the beach to pre-school with a wonderful seaside sensory experience! 🐚🪣

As they dug, scooped, poured, and built in the sand, the children developed their fine motor skills while using their imaginations to create their own seaside adventures. We chatted about beaches, sea creatures, and holidays, introducing lots of new vocabulary and encouraging plenty of conversations along the way.

Learning through play is always the best kind of learning, and today was filled with curiosity, creativity, and lots of happy smiles! 💙🌞

🎲 Board games are a fun way for our preschoolers to learn important skills while playing together!

Through games, children practise taking turns, listening carefully to instructions, following rules, and working cooperatively with friends. These activities also help build patience, focus, communication, and problem-solving skills — all while having lots of fun! 😊

Learning through play is one of the best ways to help children grow with confidence and independence. 🌟

Today in the garden, the children had a wonderful time watering our herbs and exploring where the water went as it trickled down through the plants. 💧🌿

With lots of excitement, they carefully caught the dripping water in containers below, watching closely and talking about what they could see happening. It was a lovely hands-on activity that encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and early scientific thinking while caring for our garden together.

The children especially enjoyed smelling the different herbs and noticing how the plants changed after their drink of water! 🌱✨

This week, our little explorers have been busy discovering the magic of the garden! 🌿✨ At Winton, the children took a hands-on approach to learning, carefully using scissors to trim the grass and help care for their outdoor space.

But the fun didn’t stop there… their imaginations truly came to life as they transformed the freshly cut grass into all sorts of wonderful “potions”! 🧪🍃 From magical mixtures to secret recipes, the garden became a place of creativity, curiosity, and endless possibilities.

It’s been a joy to watch the children develop their fine motor skills, teamwork, and understanding of how to look after nature—all while having so much fun. We can’t wait to see what they create next! 🌼💚
