Okay, it’s the end of the month! So let’s rate the ways I was brave in April…
I’ve recently introduced a very scientific rating system called the ‘Brave Scale’:
😌 Chillin’ — comfortable, no big stretch
💡 Switched On — a bit of a nudge outside the comfort zone
🌶️ Spicy — uncomfortable, but growth is happening
🚀 Full Send — all in, no holding back
In case you’re new around here, I’m a big believer in pushing your comfort zone and putting breathwork into action — because it’s one thing to teach it, but another to live it.
So here’s your reminder this month: I’m sharing my own brave moments to get you thinking about yours.
Because most of the time… you’re probably being pretty brave already, you’re just not noticing it yet.

It’s time to take another big step out of that comfort zone! 😅
It’s official — I’m heading to the ABR Festival at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire this June, where I’ll be speaking in The Dome.
The ABR Festival is all about adventure — bringing together explorers, travellers and storytellers from around the world to share ideas, experiences and inspiration for your own journeys.
I’ll be sharing a bit of my story on stage this year:
→ my special mission pilot career
→ getting into climbing and adventure riding in my thirties
→ some of the trips that have shaped it so far
→ how breathwork has supported me along the way
and where I’m hoping to take it next!
I’ll also be teaching breathwork in the mornings again 🫶If you’re there, come find me and say hi 👋

So, here’s another month of me sharing my own brave moments to inspire you to reflect on and share yours.
It’s always interesting to hear what bravery is to other people.
How were you brave in March?
➡️ Share yours
➡️ Write it down
➡️ Or just take a moment to reflect
Every brave moment adds up!

What are you gonna do anyway, despite what people say? Tell me and I’ll cheer you on 🤙

With a few new faces around here it’s time for a re-introduction 👋
In 2018 I went on a surf retreat feeling pretty lost. I was a full-time pilot living in the North East, and on paper everything looked fine.
But something was missing.
That week changed EVERYTHING. It sparked a move to the south coast and a whole new set of adventures!
Swipe to meet me properly 🤙
And if you’re into adventure, breathwork, and doing brave things — you’re in exactly the right place.

In case you needed a reminder, I’m a big believer in pushing your comfort zone and putting breathwork into action. It’s one thing to teach it — another to live it.
So here’s a photo dump of my brave moments in Feb (all from our climbing trip to Spain!).
Highlights include:
→ multi-pitch abseils
→ climbing 6a+ on top rope
→ leading lots of 5c’s
→ and doing it all with a cold!
It’s easy to feel like we’re not making progress in our hobbies because we often move the goal posts, so I hope this inspires you to reflect on your brave moments to see how far you’ve actually come too.
P.S. I love hearing what brave things you’ve been up to (big or small), so drop ‘em below👇

This session was actually the best reminder that confidence comes from doing something over and over again. Not just once.
The first part of the boulder was balance-y (which I loved), but the next move needed a proper foot smear up the wall into a mantle on a big hold — and that’s where I hesitated.
I made it up… but it didn’t feel great. A bit scrappy. A bit rushed.
So instead of moving on, I climbed down and tried it again. And again.
Each go felt calmer.
My feet felt more reliable.
The movement started to make sense instead of feeling like guesswork.
Nothing about the climb changed — just how familiar it felt. And by the end, I found myself trying harder routes, even knowing I might not make it very far.
One more go really does help!
