Little Stars Pre-School at Queens Park Infant Academy

This week we are continuing to look at the "Peace at Last" book. each day we have done a different activity ranging from making clocks so we can look at numbers to free drawing and pretending to sleep! we have also been colouring and playing what's the time Mr Wolf in the garden.

More fun on world book day - even Spiderman dropped in for a biscuit!

World book day was a great day filled with lots of book themed activities and some really fabulous costume that included - The Hungry Caterpillar, Pirates, Princess's, Rapunzel, Deer's, Spiderman and Moana!

Colour matching fun in Big Rockets this week!

This week we are taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week. Every day we will focus on a different Nursery. It’s a fantastic opportunity for parents to discuss and sing with children to follow on from our learning at the setting ❤️
Nursery rhymes are more than just fun songs and stories; they play a crucial role in early childhood development 🧠
It is important to sing nursery rhymes and songs to children as young as babies to help develop their language and communication skills from an early age 👶🏼

In Little Rockets, we have started to follow the Heathy movers programme and this week we have been completing Wiggle, Weave and Watch, focusing on coordination and object control using scarfs.
