The Heavy Weight of Returning.

There is something unsettling about Gomer’s story.
To be rescued, restored and loved, yet still feel the pull towards the very thing that broke you.

But perhaps that is the tragedy of human nature: freedom can feel more frightening than familiar bo***ge.
Sometimes we don’t return because the old life was better. We return because it requires less of us. Freedom demands presence. Responsibility. Surrender. It asks us to become someone our old patterns can no longer accommodate.

In our session, we wrote down the cycles, struggles and weights we keep returning to.
Then we dipped them into the blood of Jesus.

Not to pretend they never existed, but to surrender our claim to them.
Because grace does more than rescue us from the slave market. Grace teaches us not to return to it.
Perhaps the deepest form of surrender is not laying something at the altar.

It is resisting the urge to go back and pick it up.

The Worth Of A Soul.

A soul is worth more than all the treasures this world can offer. Gold can not purchase it, riches can not redeem it, pleasure can not satisfy it, and earthly success can not preserve it from eternity.

Your soul is eternal. Your body will return to the dust, your possessions will remain behind, and the applause of men will eventually fade—but your soul will stand before God.

That is why the value of a soul is beyond human calculation. Jesus Christ gave His precious blood at Calvary to redeem the soul from sin and eternal destruction. What greater proof of its worth could there be?

Yet many are exchanging their souls for temporary pleasures, sinful habits, worldly ambitions, and fleeting treasures. What a tragic bargain!

The question is not merely, “What have you gained?” But “What will become of your soul?”

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
~ Mark 8:36.

There is still mercy at Calvary. There is still forgiveness through Christ. There is still time to repent.

Turn from sin. Come to Jesus Christ. Believe on Him, surrender your life to Him, and let Him save your soul.

Do not gain the world and lose your soul. Eternity is too long to make the wrong choice.

Have You Truly Considered Your Ways.

This is a divine call to pause, examine your heart, and measure your life against God's Holy Word.

You may be busy with your ambitions, careers, pleasures, and even religious activities, yet still be drifting away from God's perfect will.

To consider your ways is to honestly ask: Am I truly living for Christ? Is my heart fully surrendered to Him? Are my decisions bringing glory to God or merely satisfying my flesh? These are questions that can not be ignored, for eternity is too important to gamble with.

The people in Haggai's day were occupied with building their own houses while God's house lay in ruins. As a result, they laboured much but accomplished little. Likewise, whenever we put our own desires above God's kingdom, we experience spiritual barrenness. True fulfilment is never found outside the will of God.

Today, the Lord is calling you to repentance and to wholehearted consecration. He invites you to abandon every sinful path, every backsliding, every hidden compromise, every neglected duty, and every divided affection. His grace is sufficient to forgive, restore, and transform your life if you only return sincerely to Him.

Do not harden your heart. Let this moment become a turning point. Consider your ways before the Lord. Turn from sin. Renew your devotion. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.

The God who searches the heart is also the God who restores the broken, revives the weary, and blesses those who walk in obedience.

The greatest tragedy that can happen to someone who heard this message is to refuse to change when God calls. Today, consider your ways, return to your first love, return to your first devotion, return to your first consecration on the the field of evangelism, return to the Lord with all your heart, and you will discover the joy, peace, and eternal purpose found only in Jesus Christ.

Standing Alone on Judgement Day.

There will come a day when every sound of this world will fall silent. The noise of crowds, the opinions of men, the comfort of companionship, and the distractions of life will all fade into nothingness. And in that stillness, one reality will remain: you alone before God.

On that day, there will be no one to speak on your behalf. No family to lean on, no friend to stand beside you, no crowd to validate your choices. Every soul will stand unveiled before the One who sees beyond appearance and into the deepest secrets of the heart. Every hidden thought, every forgotten word, every silent intention will be brought into the light of divine truth.

It will not be a moment of comparison but of account. Not a gathering of multitudes, but a personal encounter with eternity. The books will be opened, and nothing will be missing, nothing forgotten, nothing hidden. The life once lived in haste and distraction will then be seen in perfect clarity.

For some, it will be the trembling realization of grace long rejected. For others, the overwhelming joy of mercy received and salvation embraced. But for all, it will be the truth made undeniable: that life was never meaningless, and eternity was never distant.

In that hour, titles will lose their weight, wealth will lose their voice, and earthly achievements will no longer speak. Only the state of the soul will matter—whether it is found in righteousness or in ruin.

This is not written to inspire fear alone but awakening. Because the One who judges is also the One who calls today. The Judge is the Saviour, and mercy is still available in time.

So live with eternity in view. Walk with a heart made ready. For the day is coming when every soul will stand alone before God—and nothing will matter more than how you stood before Him in this life.

One Way To Life, One Way To Eternity.

There are many roads in this world. There are many philosophies, many religions, many ambitions, many ways to pleasures, and human solutions. But when it comes to the salvation of the soul and the destiny of eternity, there is only one way, and that only way is Jesus Christ!

Jesus declared with absolute authority: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
~ John 14:6.

The world may offer temporary happiness, material possessions, fame, success, and pleasure, but none of these can give the soul true life. The heart of man remains empty until it finds its home in Jesus Christ.

Jesus came to give us abundant life here and eternal life hereafter. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
~ John 3:16.

The thief only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy, but Jesus comes to give you life and to its fullest.
~ John 10:10.

You may try every other way, but every road built on human wisdom ultimately ends in disappointment. Religion without Christ can not save. Morality without Christ can not save. Good works without Christ can not save. Money can not purchase eternity, and human achievement can not open the gates of heaven.

Jesus alone is the Way. Jesus alone is the Truth. Jesus alone is the Life.

He is the Way out of sin, the Way out of condemnation, the Way out of spiritual darkness, and the Way into fellowship with God. He is the only One who died for our sins, shed His precious blood at Calvary, rose triumphantly from the grave, and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will come to Him in genuine repentance and faith.

Do not spend your life searching for what can only be found in Christ. Do not reject the only Way while pursuing countless other roads. Eternity is too serious to gamble with.

Today, Jesus is calling you. Come to Him. Turn away from sin. Lay down your burdens. Put your faith in Him and receive the gift of salvation.

One Way to Life. One Way to Eternity. One Saviour. One Name ~JESUS CHRIST!

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
~ Acts 4:12.
