The Minimixers DJ Workshop is the perfect place for the next generation of superstar DJs to learn their craft from scratch! Run by a collective of deck-spinning dads who are still to secure themselves a full time residency at Fabric, Minimixers is a mobile DJ workshop that gives kids of all ages the chance to learn and play in a fun, safe and educational environment. They’ll learn the art of mixin

g, scratching, sampling and looping and by the end of it, the only problem you’ll have is trying to drag your budding Annie Mac or Pete Tong away from the decks!

Shindig festival 2026!!!
What an amazing weekend! I’m sure I’ve said this before but I think that was the best one yet.
So many smiling, happy, dancing people in one field.
The workshops were busy and everyone friendly and understanding.
The showcase with JFB was sooo good, he absolutely came with skills and he was great with any kids and some adults that wanted to get involved and learn some scratches.
And I got to see so many people I love spending time with all in one weekend, some old mates and made some new ones ❤️

Thank you for hosting us for an hour showcase, you were all super welcoming plus loved coming down Saturday morning to have a cut with Gekks, great to meet you lad & JFB an insane talent.

Thanks to Aimee, Koz & Jude ⭐️ 👊 we make a pretty good team ❤️
Abi for helping on the workshop Friday and entertaining me with stories for the rest of the afternoon 😆😆
Leeloo & Victoria our crazy campmates🖤 ❤️ & Zebb so glad I met you bro. Keep up that art my guy.

It’s been a tough week acclimatising back into life but absolutely worth it.
If you’re looking for a festival next year then Shindig needs to be right at the top of that list.

A little preview of what’s to come next Saturday
Come and serve up a racket with MiniMixers inside (pun intended) or learn to beatmatch, mix and blend D&B, bass and breaks with DJ business lady and Matt B outside

Then from midday we have the awesome Suckaside putting on a DJ edits workshop, learn how to create a Dj edit from scratch and work through some elements of using stems, ableton and creating a mashup.

No experience necessary, enthusiasm encouraged !!
