Did you know that knowing times tables unlocks over 70% of the Year 3 to 6 maths curriculum?

When children can recall multiplication facts instantly, it frees up their brainpower. They can then focus on solving harder problems instead of getting stuck on basic counting.

Why It Matters for Years 3 & 4

* Fractions & Decimals: Finding equivalent fractions and simplifying numbers requires quick multiplication.
* Written Maths: Column multiplication and division are much faster and easier.
* Real-World Maths: Topics like area, perimeter, shape scaling and money all use times tables.
* The Year 4 Check: Year 4 ends with the official, mandatory Multiplication Tables Check.
