Willowbridge Sheep Visits

We’ve had lots of new arrivals this weekend - some expected 🐣 and some not so 🐑

We’re not meant to be lambing the Dorsets this year!
They had other ideas ….!

The main man, the one who makes Willowbridge Sheep Visits happen is 50 today! A day spent doing what he loves most - not sitting on a beach with a beer, but in the lambing shed!

Even had a special birthday fly past!

Q : What do you get if you cross a brown ram & a white ewe ….

A : a black lamb!!

Fascinated by the colour genetics on these lambs, but for the second year running, this ewe produces a black lamb after running with a brown ram!

The first ouessant ram lamb for us this year, born this afternoon.

Another arrival during a school visit & as this years lambs have names beginning with the letter I, the class have chosen the name Immie for this Hebridean ewe lamb 😍
