Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Week!

At Bramble Hall, safeguarding our children, families, and staff is at the heart of everything we do.

We are proud that all of our staff have either completed or are close to completing the LSCP two-year safeguarding pathway. This training equips our team with the knowledge and skills needed to promote safety, recognise potential concerns, and respond appropriately to help keep everyone safe.

As part of Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Week, the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children’s Partnership is offering a range of free webinars for parents and carers. These sessions provide valuable information and practical advice to help keep children and families safe.

🍅Planting Tomatoes!🍅

Our Preschoolers had a wonderful time planting tomato plants this week! A big thank you to Thistles Garden Centre for generously donating the plants. The children enjoyed getting their hands dirty, learning about how plants grow, and caring for their own tomatoes.

🌟 Allergy Awareness Matters 🌟

At Bramble Hall, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Allergies and anaphylaxis can be life-threatening, so it’s important that we all work together to create a safe environment for everyone.

We kindly ask all families to:
🥜 Be mindful of foods brought into nursery
📋 Keep us updated on any allergy information or medical changes
💉 Ensure emergency medication, such as EpiPens, is in date and available when needed
🧒 Talk to children about not sharing food or drinks with others

By raising awareness and supporting one another, we can help keep every child safe, included, and cared for.

Good oral hygiene habits developed in the early years can last a lifetime! Teaching children how to care for their teeth from a young age helps support their overall health, confidence, speech, and development.

At Bramble Hall, we encourage healthy habits every day by promoting:
🥛 Choosing healthy snacks and drinks
💧 Drinking plenty of water
🪥 Learning positive toothbrushing routines through roleplay

Parents and carers play such an important role too — brushing together at home can make oral care fun and part of a child’s daily routine.

Together, we can help little smiles stay bright and healthy! 🌟

We are proud to announce that this morning we have successfully passed our Nursery Children’s Food Hygiene and Environmental Health review and have once again been awarded a 5-star rating.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our kitchen staff and nursery team for their continued hard work and dedication in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, keeping accurate records, providing fresh and nutritious balanced meals, and ensuring awareness of children’s allergies and intolerances is truly appreciated.
