Another fun week filled with trips to the farm ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŒพ, forest school adventures ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒค and solving crimes ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿšจ

The preschool children arrived to find the evil pea had been in their classroom over night and left lots of messy!! They worked together to find clues and help solve the mystery ๐Ÿ”

The toddlers have loved visiting forest school this week and learning about vegetables and flowers ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ seeing them grow and how we eat lots of tasty vegetables at lunch and tea ๐Ÿ˜‹

The babies have been getting messy during sensory play, using shaving foam and paints as well as water and sand!๐ŸŽจโœจ๏ธ

We love creating special memories together here at Tiddlywinks and we feel super lucky to have such a wonderful place to learm and explore โค๏ธ

โœจ๐Ÿฅบ A sad goodbye to our wonderful chef, Jo, as she hangs up her apron for the last time!๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿณ

Jo has been a very important part of the Tiddlywinks family since we opened the doors here in Boroughbridge but now itโ€™s time for her to put down her rolling pin and hang up her apron as she takes some well deserved time off ๐Ÿ’ซ

All of us here are incredibly grateful for all the delicious and nutritious food Jo has prepared and perfected for us over the last year and a half and both children and staff will miss her huge amounts!๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅฐ

This week, we have been diving into a world of messy play, creativity, and colourful fun! From squishing, splashing, painting, and mixing colours, every activity has encouraged curiosity, imagination, and hands-on learning ๐ŸŽจ

Messy play isn't just about getting messyโ€”it's a fantastic way for children to develop their fine motor skills, sensory awareness, confidence, and creativity. Watching colours mix, creating unique masterpieces, and exploring different textures helps children learn through play while having lots of fun!๐ŸŒŸ

We love seeing their smiling faces as they discover that there are colours all around usโ€”in nature, in our artwork, and in the wonderful world they explore every day.

Another fun filled week of learning here at Tiddlywinks! With lots of baking๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ, forest schools ๐Ÿž๐ŸŒฟ, trips to the farm ๐Ÿท๐Ÿšœ and sensory experiences โœจ๏ธ๐ŸŒŒ

The children have been able to share experiences with their friends and make special memories in the summer sun โ˜€๏ธ There has been lots of learning opportunities to develop new skills and reach new milestones.

Here at Tiddlywinks, we believe children learn best through exciting, hands-on experiences. Our enrichment programme provides wonderful opportunities for children to explore, discover and develop new skills every day.

๐ŸŽจ In Art Studio sessions the children express their creativity, build confidence and develop their fine motor skills whilst using a range of resources, big and small to create exciting masterpieces

๐ŸŒณ During Forest School, we enjoy exploring the outdoors, problem-solving, taking managed risks and building resilience while connecting with nature. Having access to our very own forest school site and the farm allows the children to explore the world around us.

๐Ÿง In our baking classes the children develop early maths skills through measuring and counting, practise following instructions, and strengthen their hand-eye coordination while creating delicious treats.
๐ŸซงOur Baby sensory sessions gives the children chance to explore different textures using their senses developing manipulation and control of different tools as well as getting hands on in the textures
โšฝ Our Multi Sports sessions encourage children to stay active, improve their balance, coordination and teamwork, while supporting their physical development in a fun and engaging way.

These enriching experiences help our children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity, while developing important skills that support their learning both now and in the future.

It may not be coming home this time but the children here at Tiddlywinks have loved supporting the England team throughout the world cup tournament ๐Ÿ‘ and learning about countries around the world ๐ŸŒŽ

We have enjoyed lots of sensory experiences including mark making with red and white paint while listening to football songs. The preschool children have practiced their physical skills playing football with their friends, scoring goals and working together in teams โšฝ๏ธ

It has been lovely hearing the children talk about watching football at home with their families and we are so proud of how well the England team did at the world cup!!๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‘โšฝ๏ธโค๏ธ

The sunshine is here โ˜€๏ธ and weโ€™ve got everything little ones need to beat the heat! Our water play ๐Ÿ’ฆ and paddling pools are the perfect place for splashing, laughing, and making summer memories.

To keep everyone refreshed, we set up a
๐Ÿ‰ Watermelon Hydration Station ๐Ÿ‰
packed with juicy watermelon slices to help keep our little adventurers cool and hydrated throughout the day.

And for a touch of relaxation, children can enjoy our ๐Ÿฅ’ Cucumber Spa experience โ€“ a fun, calming way to unwind after all that splashing and playing!

We are incredibly proud of how well the children and staff have managed to stay cool in the heat over the last few weeks โ˜€๏ธ it has been lots of fun splashing and creating special memories together as always here at Tiddlywinks โค๏ธ

What a fantastic day we had on Wednesday celebrating our amazing little graduates with a fun-filled football-themed graduation! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’š
The children looked incredible in their graduation gowns and had so much fun enjoying football games, challenges, and celebrations with their friends and family. It was a wonderful way to mark such an important milestone before they take their next big step on their learning journey.
We are so proud of every single one of our graduates. Watching them grow in confidence, kindness, and independence has been an absolute privilege. ๐Ÿ’–
