To all parents, carers, and families who have been part of Egerton and Walmsley Playgroup over the years π
Since opening our doors in 1967, it has been our absolute privilege to welcome generations of children through the playgroup β sharing first friendships, first songs, first crafts, and so many special milestones along the way.
Today, we officially close the doors for the final time. While this is a bittersweet moment, we are incredibly proud of the memories made, the laughter shared, and the strong sense of community that has grown here over nearly six decades.
Thank you to every child, parent, carer, volunteer, and staff member who has been part of our journey. Your support, trust, and kindness have meant more than words can express.
Egerton and Walmsley Playgroup may be closing, but it will always hold a special place in our hearts and in the lives of those who passed through its doors. π
All the Aunties wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and good luck in the New Year to all our children in their new settings π€ π₯°
Lots of love the Aunties
