Holy Infant and St. Anthony RC Primary School

Today Year 3 visited Bolton Museum to take part in an Egyptians workshop. We 'wrapped up' our unit of work with a tour of the Ancient Egypt section with our guide Katie who told us all about the mummification process and what the Ancient Egyptians believed happened to a person when they died. We even got to see real mummies! We thoroughly enjoyed our day!

Our Reception children had a wonderful afternoon of kin-ball, music and laughter today — a lovely way to finish a fantastic half term together! ☀️🎶🏐

Year 5 Kin Ball Workshop 🌟🏐
Year 5 had an amazing time this week taking part in a Kin Ball workshop led by A1 Multisport. For many of the children, it was their first experience of the sport and they quickly discovered that Kin Ball is all about teamwork, communication and quick reactions!
The session was full of energy, laughter and cooperation as the children learned new skills and took part in exciting games and challenges using the giant Kin Ball. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, encouraging one another and growing in confidence throughout the workshop.
A huge thank you to A1 Multisport for delivering such a fun and engaging experience for our children 👏

Year 1 have been working hard in their new Maths unit of work - Fractions. We have been busy finding half and quarter of an object, shape and amount.

Year 2 have taken part in a fantastic discussion today about our current book ’Tidy.’ They worked as part of a talk trio to discuss the forest and agreed and disagreed with each other using our talk guidelines. Very impressive!
