This week we have really enjoyed welcoming our children back from the Summer Holidays. We have had lots of smiles and excitement and the children have all transitioned so well into their new year groups; we are proud of you all. Here is just a snapshot of what the children have been learning in their first couple of days! We look forward to seeing all of our families for our first full week back on Monday.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful local businesses and families who donated vouchers for our Summer Raffle. Thanks to your generosity, we raised £320 for our school, which will go directly towards enriching experiences for our children.

On Friday, the Year 6 cohort enjoyed their fabulous prom. The children planned and budgeted the event from the food to decorations to the entertainment; they did a wonderful job and arrived in style! 🕺💃🪩

Community Day was a huge success! A very big thank you to everyone who gave up time to help add colour to the walls and make our pond look incredible. It’s wonderful to be part of such a wonderful community! 🎨🫟🖌️

On Friday, Deer Class had a wonderful day visiting La Hayes Farm. The children got to take a walk across the fields to learn all about rivers and habitats discovering lots of interesting animals. Thank you to the farm for a fantastic day. We look forward to taking the rest of the school to the farm over the coming weeks! 🐑🐔🚜

Why not go and take part in the community event at Cardinham this afternoon? Lots of exciting things going on and a chance to see some wonderful scarecrows including Petunia Growsalot. Look out for our wonder staff who will be leading some of the activities!
