🎉 Well done to our fantastic Year 2 children for earning their Pompom reward! 🎉 Today they enjoyed making delicious chocolate cornflakes cakes and had lots of fun getting creative. A well deserved treat for all their hard work, teamwork and positive behaviour. We are so proud of them! 🌟

Our Autumn disco is fast approaching and as always these events rely on parents and carers to give a bit of their time to ensure our children have a great time! 23rd October either Disco 1 - 2.45-4pm or Disco 2 - 3.50-5.15pm

Well done to our new Sport Ambassadors. They have attended the North Dorset Primary Leadership day at Gillingham School. Their challenge now is to encourage all pupils at school to take part of a minimum of 60 mins of activity a day through different activities which they are going to plan and deliver.

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic time during their DT lesson learning how to safely prepare and cut different foods. 🍎🥕🔪

They showed great care, concentration and some impressive chopping skills throughout the session. We're delighted to report that all fingers are still perfectly intact! 😄👏

Well done, Year 2, for being safe, sensible and superstar chefs in the making! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳✨

🎨✨ Year 4 have been taking inspiration from the famous artist Kandinsky! ✨🎨
This week, the children have been designing and creating their own printing tiles inspired by Kandinsky's colourful abstract artwork. 🌈🖌️
We can't wait to see their final masterpieces come to life! 🤩 Check back next week to see the finished results and celebrate their creativity. 🎨⭐

📚✨ Year 5 Learning! ✨🎨

Our Year 5 pupils have been busy exploring their learning in creative and exciting ways!

🔢 In Maths, we have been using UNO cards to support our Place Value learning, helping us to deepen our understanding of numbers and practise flexible partitioning.

🎨 In Art, we experimented with watercolours to create beautiful backgrounds for our Viking collages. This links perfectly with our History learning as we continue to explore the fascinating world of the Vikings!

We are so proud of the enthusiasm, creativity and engagement shown by all of the children . Well done, Year 5! ⭐👏

🌟📝 Year 6 have been putting their interviewing skills to the test! 🎤✨

As part of their learning about Creation Stories, our fantastic Year 6 children enjoyed interviewing one another to explore and compare two different views of creation: Genesis and the Big Bang Theory. 🌍⭐

The children asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully to different perspectives, and shared their ideas with confidence. We were so impressed by their curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm throughout the activity! 👏😊

Well done, Year 6! We love seeing such engaging discussions and brilliant critical thinking in action. 🌟📚💬 🌈✨
