We’re proud to introduce Isabella, Poppy, Amelia, Jonah and Carys— five inspiring young leaders who share our passion for karate and are enthusiastic about helping others develop their skills and confidence.
Their dedication, commitment and positive attitude make them fantastic role models within our karate community. Each of them brings their own personality and strengths to the team, while sharing the same values of respect, discipline, teamwork and perseverance.
We’re incredibly proud to see our young leaders growing both on and off the mat and helping to inspire the next generation of karate students.

🐉🥋 CELEBRATING 10 YEARS — A WHOLE DECADE OF AKAI RYUU 🥋🐉
Shotokan Karate Akai Ryuu — Red Dragon Karate Club proudly celebrates 10 incredible years — a whole decade built on dedication, discipline, tradition, hard work, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence.
Over the past ten years, we have grown from strong foundations into a club recognised for producing high standards of performance, outstanding black belts, World Champions and European Champions.
But our success has never been solely about medals or titles. It has been built upon the roots of our instructors, their knowledge, experience, commitment, and passion for traditional Shotokan Karate. These foundations have shaped the standards of our dojo and continue to influence every student who walks through our doors.
For a whole decade, we have worked to develop not only successful competitors, but confident, disciplined and respectful karateka who understand the true values of martial arts.
Our achievements are a reflection of everyone who has been part of the journey — our instructors, students, families, supporters and the generations of karateka who have helped shape the Akai Ryuu legacy.
Ten years is more than an anniversary. It represents 10 years of memories, friendships, challenges overcome, lessons learned, champions created and standards maintained.
We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and proud to represent Wales 🏴 on the national and international stage.
