Every Friday, we come together as a school for our Celebration Assembly, recognising the many achievements and successes of our pupils.

Congratulations to all of our Pupils of the Week from the past two weeks for their hard work, kindness and positive attitudes.

This week also saw the launch of our first Art Gallery Assembly of the year. Each class selected an Artist of the Month, with their artwork now proudly displayed in our school gallery for the next month.

At St. Jarlath's, we are committed to "Finding Success in Every Child", and it is wonderful to celebrate the many different talents, strengths and achievements of our pupils each week. 🎨⭐

We may have been quiet on social media lately, but we've certainly not been quiet in school! 😊

Over the summer, every classroom was refreshed with new paint, tables and chairs, made possible through the incredible support shown during last year's fundraising efforts. Thank you to our Parent Support Group!

The new school year is off to a fantastic start, with all of our children settling back in well and our new Primary 1 pupils making a wonderful start to school life.

It was also lovely to gather as a school family this week for our Start of Year Mass, celebrated by Fr James, as we look forward to another happy and successful year at St. Jarlath's. 💙

Final Toddler Morning of the School Year 🌟

With school closed next Tuesday and June shaping up to be a very busy time, tomorrow will be our final Toddler Morning of this school year.

Since launching in April 2025, our Toddler Morning has gone from strength to strength, and we are so proud of what it has become.

A huge thank you to the staff who lead this wonderful initiative, and to all the families and children who continue to support it each week.

We look forward to welcoming you all back in the new school year!

🙏 Congratulations to our amazing P4 children who made their First Holy Communion today. 🙏

We’re incredibly grateful to Fr McHugh and Fr Hughes for guiding the children today and for the constant support they give to everyone in St Jarlath’s.

Well done to our school choir, led by Mrs Carberry and Mrs Sweeney — their music truly lifted the whole celebration.

Thank you to Miss O’Gorman and Mrs Halligan for preparing the children with such care and dedication.

Finally, thank you to our Primary Three parents for hosting the celebration back in the school.

We hope all the children and their families had a special day and we look forward to hearing their stories on Monday.

Today all roads lead to the Athletic Grounds in Armagh as our boys’ football team compete in the Malachy McGeeney Final.

Reaching the final is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of the boys and their teachers, Mr Loughran and Mr McGinn.

A big thank you to Hegartys Blackwatertown for sponsoring our team and to O'Neill's GFC Port Mór for their continued support.
