Happy Diwali to those celebrating ✨️🕯 🎆

We have read the story of Diwali, listened and danced to music, used clay to make diya's 🪔 and made rangoli patterns using colourful rice.
The children also loved dressing up in traditional clothing.

After two years off on maternity leave with my little girl 💗

We're back to having fun, adventures and learning through play. We've had a busy first month.

Our new starters have settled amazingly well into life at Little Butterflies Childcare 🦋 🥰

We started off September with our "All about me" topic. The children and i got to know each other and our families.
We have been exploring Autumn, going on lots of woodland walks and looking for signs of Autumn 🍂🐿 🍁🦔

We visit our weekly childminder group to see our friends every week and take part in lots of different activities.

We have weekly Library visits to get new books for our setting and to read at home with parents. Encouraging the children to have a love of books from an early age 📚 😊

Boogie babies, is where we explore stories and different topics through music and movement.

We have lots of fun at Gym tots, Bolton arena.

We have also been exploring at "The Hive", having lots of creative play in nature. The children enjoy water play, making music in the sound garden, bug hunting, den building, the mud kitchen and much more.

We have also visited our local parks, allowing us to get lots of fresh air. We love to learn and explore in nature at Little Butterflies 😁

Last but not least, we also had our Ofsted inspection where I'm proud to say I retained my "Good" grade, with such great feedback.
