Today, we explored the importance of place value in mathematics, shared memories of our own maths lessons, and reflected on the kind of maths teachers we aspire to become. 🧮✨

It was wonderful to see you engaging in thoughtful discussions, reflecting on your experiences as learners, and considering how to create positive, inclusive and meaningful maths experiences for the children you will teach.

Remember, the way we teach maths can shape how children feel about the subject for years to come. Let’s strive to be teachers who build confidence, nurture curiosity, celebrate mistakes as opportunities to learn, and help every child believe, “I can do maths!” ❤️
