πŸŽ“βœ¨ And That’s a Wrap! βœ¨πŸŽ“

Year 6 have officially left the building! Today, we enjoyed celebrating their time at Moor Park with a special assembly after Tuesday's fantastic leavers disco.

It has been a privilege to watch them grow, learn and achieve so much during their time with us. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and all they have accomplished.

A huge thank you to everyone for your support throughout their journey at Moor Park. Your encouragement and partnership have helped make their primary school years so memorable.

To our Year 6 leavers – we wish you all the very best as you begin the next chapter of your journey. Go forward with confidence, be proud of who you are, and never stop believing in yourselves. We know you will achieve great things!

Once a Moor Park pupil, always part of our Moor Park family. πŸ’™πŸ’›

The Reception and Year 1 children had a fantastic time taking part in Trip Trap Day! Inspired by the story, they loved getting creative and using their imaginations to design and make their very own billy goats, trolls and bridges. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and problem-solving as the children brought their ideas to life. A fun-filled morning of learning and creativity enjoyed by all! πŸπŸŒ‰βœ¨

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Miss Memmott, who has recently qualified as a Level 4 SEND Advanced Practitioner. As if that wasn't impressive enough, she has also been awarded Student of the Year for Teaching Assistant Pathways by Blackpool and The Fylde College!

This is a truly outstanding achievement, especially alongside the demands of a busy and challenging role. Miss Memmott's dedication, hard work, and commitment to supporting children with SEND are an inspiration to us all.

Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved success. πŸ‘β

Y3 have also been enjoying cricket sessions, developing their skills while having lots of fun! We focused on throwing and catching, practising accuracy, coordination and teamwork through a range of engaging activities.

The children also had the opportunity to work on their batting technique, learning the correct grip, stance, and swing when using a cricket bat. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they practised hitting the ball and supporting one another.

"He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and...he was a beautiful butterfly!" (Eric Carle)

Our Nursery children have shown great patience as they have waited for their butterflies to emerge from their cocoons. It was definitely worth the wait!!! We have explored and used new vocabulary, we have closely observed the changes that have taken place and watched with awe and wonder as our 'Painted Lady' butterflies flew away into our Nursery Garden, to go and find their new home. We hope they come back to see us soon!
