The early years are where confident readers begin. 🌟

If your child is starting Primary 1 or moving into Primary 2, our small group literacy sessions provide targeted support to help them develop the skills they need while making learning enjoyable.

Together we’ll build confidence in:
📖 Phonics
📚 Reading
✏️ Spelling
💬 Writing
⭐ Tricky words & comprehension

👥 Maximum of 3 children per group, ensuring every child receives personalised support in a calm, encouraging environment.

Our NEW Primary 4 Literacy and Numeracy Groups are designed to strengthen key skills, boost confidence and help children feel ready for the year ahead.

Primary 6 & Primary 7 Numeracy Groups | Starting August

The jump into Primary 6 and Primary 7 often brings new challenges. Maths becomes more complex, children are expected to work more independently, and for many, confidence can begin to dip.

At Bright Leaps, my small group sessions are designed to strengthen understanding, build confidence and help children approach maths with a positive mindset.

Sessions focus on developing secure foundations while extending learning through problem solving, reasoning and practical activities. Every lesson is carefully planned to follow the Curriculum for Excellence and is tailored to the needs of the children in the group.

⭐️Qualified Primary Teacher
⭐️Maximum of 4 children per group
⭐️60-minute weekly sessions
⭐️£25 per session

📆 Starting week beginning 24th August

📍 Based in Dargavel Village, Bishopton

These sessions are ideal for children who would benefit from:

▪️Building confidence in numeracy
▪️Consolidating key skills before the new school year
▪️Extra challenge beyond the classroom
▪️Learning in a small, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to participate

Whether your child would benefit from extra support, a confidence boost, or an opportunity to strengthen key Literacy and Numeracy skills, our small groups provide a supportive place to learn, grow and thrive.

A snapshot from a session with a primary 3 learner 📚

These activities focus on phonemes, tricky words and applying these skills when reading, using hands-on tasks to support understanding and confidence.

At this stage, building strong foundations is key. Sessions are calm, supportive and carefully paced, helping children feel comfortable practising new skills and applying them in their reading.

✨While this session focuses on literacy, every learner’s sessions are personalised. Some children come to work on numeracy, others on reading, writing or simply building confidence in an area they find tricky.
