Today, the Greek School of Apostolos Andreas honors the anniversary of March 25th. As our students learn about the history of our heritage, we are reminded that the desire for liberty and peace is a universal human hope. 🇬🇷

Σήμερα, το Ελληνικό Σχολείο Αποστόλου Ανδρέα τιμά την επέτειο της 25ης Μαρτίου. Καθώς οι μαθητές μας διδάσκονται την ιστορία της κληρονομιάς μας, θυμόμαστε ότι η επιθυμία για ελευθερία και ειρήνη είναι μια παγκόσμια ανθρώπινη ελπίδα. 🇬🇷

The Greek School of Apostolos Andreas invites you to join us as we honor the spirit of freedom and heritage during our celebration of the Greek and Cypriot National Days.

We will be commemorating the double anniversary of March 25th, 1821, and April 1st, 1955, with a special program prepared by our students.

A recent feature in To Vima takes a deep dive into our diaspora’s journey—from the first arrivals to the 4th and 5th generations today.

We are honored that the Greek School of Apostolos Andreas was highlighted as a beacon for cultural preservation. Our Headteacher, Mrs. Panayiota Serghi , shared the challenges and the "priceless" rewards of teaching our language and traditions.

Despite the distance from Greece and Cyprus, our students continue to show that our roots run deep. Whether it’s through dance, history, or the Greek language, we are committed to helping our youth carry the torch of our identity forward.

With a community of up to 300,000 in London alone, I am revisiting the diaspora to understand the situation at a deeper level.
