Our Year 7 & 8 CARE Awards evening took place on Tuesday. We celebrated students' achievements throughout the year and presented prizes and certificates to some outstanding award recipients for achieving 100% attendance and Diamond Q-Points status, as well as awards to students who have shown Community, Ambition, Respect, and Excellence throughout the year.

We are delighted that students who have achieved Bronze status (150 net Q-Points by May half-term) or above will be taking part in a range of exciting CARE Days trips and enrichment experiences during the final two days of term. From September, we are pleased to introduce a new Sports Kit in partnership with Surridge Sport, supplied by Clive Mark Schoolwear. Students may continue to wear the current Macron kit throughout the next academic year. There is no recommendation to replace items immediately. Both Sports Kit and uniform are available in-store to purchase from Clive Mark, Walsall from today.

As temperatures rise, we will continue working together to keep students safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Children can become unwell more quickly in the heat, so small actions can make a big difference.

We understand the importance of healthy eating and try to promote this through various avenues. For example, there are always healthy options available to purchase at breaktime and lunch, and students have curriculum time which focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Following the recent introduction of an area for the students to play football at social times, it has been great to see how students are actively looking after our beautiful grounds. After social time games, students collect any rubbish and ensure the area is clean and tidy.
