Playworker Position
20 - 25 hours per week. 7.30 to 9.00am and an afternoon session from 3.00pm to 5.30pm/6.00pm (dependent on requirements).

We are recruiting for a new Playworker to join our Coppice Care Club based in Coppice Primary School, Shawhurst Lane, Hollywood, Wythall. B47 5JN

Do you enjoy playing games, enjoy arts and crafts, enjoy having fun whilst you work!

As a Playworker you will play an integral part in supporting children who attend our Out of School Club.

The role will be

To ensure a high standard care for the children attending the Out of School Club.
To take children to and collect them from their classes.
To provide breakfast and a light snack for tea, taking into account individual dietary needs and requirements.
To ensure that children have the opportunity to participate in varying art and craft activities
To support children in their outdoor play.
To encourage children to participate in the planning of activities.
To provide appropriate support to all children and be aware on individual needs.
Enthusiasm and commitment to working with children.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Ideally you should have Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years or in Play Work but we will be happy to train an unqualified suitable candidate to work with children aged 4 - 11 years.

You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
