Are you an experienced ABA tutor looking for a new role in special education?
The Centre of Behaviour Solutions (CBS, https://www.behavioursolutions.net/) is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose primary purpose is the delivery of evidence based clinical, professional and training services, to help children and young people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, their families and communities to achieve their potential.
CBS is looking for experienced ABA tutors in Wiltshire to support an 11-year-old autistic boy on a bespoke educational programme in Wiltshire. He will receive 2:1 support using the principles of ABA to enable him to access learning.
The role involves working in a small team that meets at least every two weeks (sometimes weekly as the need arises) with clinical supervision from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Essential criteria
You will:
1. Have at least 1 year experience working on home or school-based programmes as an ABA tutor supervised by a BCBA consultant
2. Be able to plan an ABA session; knowledge of pairing procedures, manding, DTT and NET sessions
3. Be fluent with data recording and data-based decision making
4. Be familiar with ABA assessments tools (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP)
5. Know how to build and maintain good rapport with children through being playful, creative and energetic
6. Demonstrate professionalism and be able to build positive working relationships with stakeholders (families and multi-disciplinary team members)
7. Be emotionally and physically resilient to meet the challenges of working with young people who present with behaviours that challenge
8. Be willing to undergo a DBS check (criminal record check) and complete safeguarding training
9. Be able to drive and have a valid driving licence
Contract and Pay:
The job is offered based on a full-time salary of £24-29000, depending on experience. The position comes with full statutory benefits (statutory sick pay, statutory maternity/paternity pay, 28 days paid holiday etc).

Centre for Behaviour Solutions (CBS) is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose primary purpose is the delivery of evidence based clinical, professional and training services, to help children and young people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, their families and communities to achieve their potential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team offering a range of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) programmes for children with complex developmental difficulties and challenging behaviour. The PBS programmes will be delivered primarily in the children’s school in Devizes, but also with some home and community working.
The post holder will join an experienced team of behaviour analysts and psychologists dedicated to delivering the best possible outcomes for our children and families. In the past successful candidates have moved onto clinical doctorate programmes.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic graduate psychologist with good honours degrees. A masters degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis is desirable but not essential.
A positive 'can do' attitude and strong team working skills are essential. Previous experience working with children who present with behaviours that challenge and/or working in schools is desirable.

Salary: £23,931.00-£24,431.00 per year
