Maths Enrichment Day.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of activities including pattern investigations, code breaking challenges, map work, problem solving and creative design tasks. It was wonderful to see so much teamwork and enthusiasm as the children applied their mathematical thinking in different contexts.

This week, the children enjoyed a fantastic assembly led by Severn Trent, learning all about saving water and preventing sewage blockages. Thankfully, Miss Lamb escaped being soaked - although she did end up covered in tissue paper! Year 4 also took part in an interactive workshop. πŸ’§

Our Reception children had the BEST time today when Laura from 'The Animal Man' came to visit!

From meeting a beautiful owl πŸ¦‰ to getting up close with a honey bear 🐻 and a snake 🐍, the children were full of curiosity, courage, and huge smiles all day long.

What a wild and wonderful experience! ✨

Wishing all of our children and families a lovely Easter Sunday! 🌼🐣

Our Easter Holiday Club is well under way, and the children have been having a wonderful time! They’ve enjoyed making cakes, taking part in an Easter egg hunt in Forest School, and getting creative with lots of Easter arts and crafts.

Children in Year 2 have started their new English unit of Hansel and Gretel. They have looked at the different parts of the story mountain and used sentences from the story to identify the opening, build up, problem, resolution and ending.
