This week we have celebrated the Culture and Diversity of the children in our nursery. We explored Russia. We started off the week by looking at the Russian flag and colours and shapes and then the children made own Russian flags. We looked at the Matryoshka dolls which represents families, the children enjoyed making their version of a Matryoshka doll using various materials and media.
The children enjoyed exploring the map of Russia and the different landmarks and buildings unique to Russia. The onion Towers at Basils Cathedral were beautiful.

Big Thank you to Emma and Victors mum and Dad who took the time to share stories with the children in Russian and teach us about the Culture.

What's cookin' Good lookin'

The children are getting ready to enjoy a delicious feast for our Eid Celebrations.

The children are encouraged to try new foods and delicious delicacies from around the world!

The children are feeling really excited and discussing what they will do at the party.

Everyday we celebrate our children and really bring their learning to life, through real life experiences.

Happy Eid everyone!

This week we have had sunshine and rain and we have enjoyed exploring our garden.

It is highly beneficial for children to play outdoors in all weathers. At nursery children have been learning the rules and taking instructions on how they can play outdoors safely.

Children are provided with overalls and wellies to wear over their clothing and are encouraged to dress themselves and help each other too. This is important particularly for those starting school soon.
