Concert band are gearing up to perform in their final concert of the year.
It is great to not only have the chance to perform in these events but to also see ex pupils performing and help to organise and manage the event is wonderful!

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! ๐ ๐ ๐
The year 6 theatre troupe smashed it out of the park! Storytelling at its finest!
Cantโt wait for them to do it all over again tomorrow!!

Year 6 are ready to welcome you to the theatre for the story of George and Chloe Bray!
Shipwrecked on an island; they are known as the outsiders initially but will that change the longer they stayโฆ

Congratulations to Year 5 and 6, who completed the league and cup double for the local district. They were up against schools who had excellent seasons regionally and nationally to triumph in both the RM Cup and KNSFA Junior Shield.
Well done to everyone who has played a part in these victories, either by playing or supporting.

We are extremely proud of our Year 6 children completing their SATs this week. They have demonstrated excellent perseverance, resilience and determination.
They deserve to have the best weekend after having a fab celebration in school.

Wet, windy and wonderful. Year 4's adventure continued today with raft building, archery, climbing and campfire singing with the star activity.... a trip to the gift shop! Miss Cooper, Mr Sadler, Miss Maynard and Mrs Jones are very proud of the children's enthusiasm and openness to trying new things. Everyone enjoyed a hilarious sing song around the (slightly soggy) campfire this evening, including a brilliant class performance of the 'peel banana' song. Bed time was a lot earlier tonight after such active days here. We are looking forward to seeing you all and sharing more stories of the fun we've had when we return tomorrow.

St Francis superstars in Shropshire! Year 4 have made a fantastic start to their time on residential at PGL. They have already been encouraging each other as they speed down the zip wire, as well as finding their way as a team when orienteering. Everyone ate heartily, with many children trying new foods at dinner time. Despite a very soggy evening, they danced the night away at a disco before heading to bed after a fun packed day.

SCHOOL CLOSED
With the continued snow fall expected throughout the morning on top of the slush which froze overnight, we are concerned about children, families and staff arriving to school safely.
As discussed yesterday, learning opportunities, which prioritise English and Maths, will be available on Google Classroom or Tapestry by 10am.
Take care over the weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone on Monday.

Always fabulous to have Riverside Performing Arts in. One of our highlights of the year. So glad and privileged they launched their new show with us.
This week we launched our brand new show HEADSPACE!!
Yesterday we had our very first performance and got to tell the story of โCharlieโ to 120 young people.
Headspace is an exciting new KS2 Primary production exploring the emotional journey that children can experience, even in a typical day; the challenges, the conflicts, the cheers. In this fun and engaging show, we meet faces that are familiar to many of us, and discover the positive and negative impacts of conversations we have in our Head Space. The show hopes to help children understand their mental health, discover the importance of their Head Space, as well as providing positive tools to help navigate their emotional well-being.
We cannot wait to share our passion for this show with many more children and young people and see how God is working through the story we are telling.
