We’re so excited to share the next chapter of Happy Feet Childminders with you. 🌿

Over the coming weeks/months you’ll notice some changes to our environment as we begin embracing a Hygge inspired approach.

Hygge is a Danish concept that celebrates warmth, comfort, calm and togetherness.

For us, it means creating a cosy, nurturing home from home environment where children feel safe, relaxed and free to explore the world around them.

Our days will continue to be filled with outdoor adventures, nature, stories, creativity, gentle routines and meaningful play, encouraging children to slow down and connect with their surroundings and simply enjoy being little.

We can’t wait to take you along on this journey and share all of the beautiful changes happening at Happy Feet. 💚

A Fresh New Look for Happy Feet Childminders! 💕

We’re so excited to share that Happy Feet Childminders are beginning a beautiful new chapter.

Over the coming weeks you’ll start to notice a change in our colours, branding, and the way we present our setting. We’re moving towards a more nature inspired approach that reflects what we already love most: outdoor adventures, child-led play, natural resources and encouraging curiosity through the world around us.

This change is all about creating an environment that feels warm, welcoming and connected to the outdoors for the children in our care.

We can’t wait to share more with you and bring our new vision to life!

We need your help!
Does anyone have any long pieces of wood we can use for ramps for the children?
Sustainability is a big part of happy feet and rather than buying new materials, we’re trying to reuse and repurpose wood that might otherwise go to waste, helping us teach children about sustainability, recycling and caring for the environment through everyday experiences.

Our next theme at Happy Feet Childminders is Toy Story!

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be exploring the wonderful message behind Toy Story: friendship, kindness, teamwork and always looking out for one another. Through play, crafts and hands on activities, the children will be making their own Forkys, creating paper plate aliens, playing pin the features on Mr Potato Head and enjoying lots more Toy Story inspired fun.

Because every great adventure is even better with friends! 💙💛❤️
