Delighted to say that my university has just made me a Professor of Broadcast Journalism Education. Completely honoured. This and being made the deputy chair of the BJTC means that I'm on a roll. Anyone need help picking lottery numbers?

Should stress that the BJTC Deputy Chair role, as with my consultancy for the Council of Europe 'Mediane' project, is part of my ongoing work at Birmingham City University.
Count myself lucky to have such interesting elements to the 'day job'.
