Year 6 are over half way through their residential and what an adventure they are having. We've done zip wire, a blind trail, rifle shooting, axe throwing, fencing and grass sledging already!! There have been lots of smiles and memories made so far.

What an amazing morning we had with Steel (Zack George) from BBC's Gladiators!

We had a whole school assembly where Steel spoke to all the children about fitness, healthy eating, hydration, confidence and having a positive mindset. Then he visited each classroom to answer questions and take pictures. What an unforgettable experience! Thank you to our wonderful PA for organising this for us.

We have taken part in lots of different activities in school this week exploring the importance of emotional wellbeing, connection, and self‑care. Mental Health Week has given us all a chance to pause, reflect, and support one another. Nine of our fabulous Year Six children applied to take part in the training to become Peer Listeners. Their role will be to support other children at break and lunchtimes by providing a listening ear and helping to create a happy environment. Today they completed their training! They will deliver an assembly in the first week after half term to tell the rest of the school about their new roles.
