"Reading is dreaming with your eyes open"
It's a summer of reading with the teachers at Tidbury Green - Episode 3 of 3
There's still time to join and complete the summer reading challenge. This year, "Read to the Beat," is running across all Solihull libraries. Open to children aged 4–11, it is completely free to join. You can set a reading goal, collect stickers for every book read, and can earn a medal and enter a prize draw. Here's what we'll be reading this summer. We have badges in school for our star readers who complete the Tidbury challenge of recommending 10 books they have read over the summer too. .m.cremin

Rocksteady Concerts 2026
On Wednesday, Kouther from Rocksteady showcased our Tidbury bands in a wonderfully, loud Tidbury gig! The children have thoroughly enjoyed all that comes with being in a band! Star Damage were our headline act, who are all Y6 and therefore treated us to their final Tidbury set! We definitely have some rockstars in the making! 🎸 ⚡️

📚 Calling all lost library books! 📚

As we get ready for another fantastic year of reading at Tidbury Green School, we’d love your help to restock our library shelves.

Have you discovered a Tidbury library book at home? Or perhaps a whole carrier bag full? Don’t worry – there are no questions asked! We’d simply love to have them back so that more children can enjoy them next year.

📖 Please return any library books to your child’s class before the start of the new school year.
