HHGS Summer Term 2 2026

Welcome back for the final summer term! We've already had two busy weeks, including Year 8 Parents' Evening and ongoing GCSE exams. Excitement is building for Wellbeing Day, with bookings live on School Gateway for activities across 5 areas!

We wish all parents/carers, pupils and staff a restful half-term break.

Year 11 Leavers Event 26🎓

We celebrated our Y11s as they begin study leave on the last day of term with a red carpet welcome, breakfast spread, shirt signing, awards and inspiring speeches. A memorable send-off. Wishing all pupils the best for their exams and next chapter!

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

This week we marked MHAW in school with the message “Take Action”, highlighting the importance of speaking up, supporting one another and prioritising wellbeing. Assemblies were led by Mrs Amin and our Well-being Ambassadors.

VE Day 2026

This week we marked VE Day with year group assemblies and Theme of the Week activities. Pupils explored online resources shared during morning form time, including WWII survivor stories, videos and how VE Day is being commemorated across the UK.

Henna Design Competition 2026

After the success of our Easter Egg Design competition, we have launched the Henna Hand Design competition for all pupils and staff to take part in.

All entries will be vibrantly displayed around the building to showcase our talented community.
