It will always be painful and uncomfortable but It’s ok to disconnect from toxic relationships, once all options have been exhausted

Strength training is what gets me excited because the goal is always moving further away. You continually want to lift that extra kilo or squeeze in that extra rep

Yesterday I challenged myself to lift this little car at 😳...clearly I failed! But failure is what make the challenge more exciting, so next week I will try again

(It didn’t look so heavy 👀?? 😂)

It’s an ass to grass kinda day today. Working on improving my range of motion - the elbows are still not as high as they should be but the squat depth has definitely improved. Slowly, slowly...

Let nothing hold you back. You can interpret this as loneliness or see it as creating space to grow 🌱

I was very honoured to have been invited to attend the ‘Advancing Female Entrepreneurship’ event in Birmingham today. A very powerful event organised in collaboration with ‘Women in Banking and Finance’ and NatWest, amongst others

There was so much knowledge and inspiration to take away from a room full of like-minded business women and entrepreneurs

But despite there being a shift in more women moving to previously male-dominated roles, there were also some shocking statics shared. These highlighted the disparities between male and female entrepreneurs, the lack of awareness of available funding and that females are five times less likely, than men, to scale up their businesses

Events like this are crucial in enabling women to network with other powerful and motivated individuals and find relatable sponsorship and mentorship opportunities to successfully grow their businesses

Even successful business owners, entrepreneurs and millionaires need a coach right? Absolutely, yes!

I have worked with some amazing coaches over the years - I have a career coach, a powerlifting and bodybuilding coach, a nutritional coach to support me during competition prep and a business coach to help me realise my potential to succeed as a multiple business owner.

Each of my coaches also has their own coache(s), highlighting the fact that continued success is based on being aware of an ever-changing environment. It is critical to continue the process of acquiring new skills, whilst deepening our existing learning, improving performance and achieving a better quality of life.

At JT Anomaly, we combine the disciplines of both business coaching and fitness coaching to deliver a tailored programme, to support your success and growth in all key aspects of life.

In today's chaotic world there is evidence of a worrying level of mental health issues. This is one of the key factors we focus on, to ensure we develop a plan that takes into consideration your physical and mental wellbeing, your potential to grow and a worklife balance that allows you time for all of this.

For a few of us there comes a time when we make a decision to leave behind the job or career that pays well and move into running our own business

This is no easy decision and you must have every ounce of faith in yourself and also a passion for what you are venturing into

A friend of mine, from school, has done exactly that. Moving from a well compensated corporate job to running his own niche cafe has been a great decision and a brilliant success

Everything on the menu is vegan or vegetarian and is made fresh on the premises. I love this place because they happily cater for ‘awkward’ people like me who ask for food to be weighed and the menu options to be adapted , to fit my macros!

If you’re local to Derby, you must pop in a grab a coffee or a delicious lunch....I guarantee you’ll love it. Well done and we wish you continued success. https://www.vedifood.co.uk

Some necessary time out today. No checking emails, no returning business calls, just family time

Breakfast with one child, dinner with the other, a visit to see my mother and some lovely gifts;

Protein, candles, wine and a Drake quote 😊. Thank you 😘xx

Be the Anomaly, be brave, be proud to be different! Yup, nothing much has changed for me, I’m still the girl on the end 😂!

From the moment we are born, we’re programmed to behave in a particular way. Culture, religion, beliefs and status are a few of the factors that dictate how we develop our thinking and draw conclusions and opinions about the world around us.

Me? Well I was always different and never really fit into the predefined mould. I’m still different. The struggles experienced throughout life, to overcome numerous obstacles, only made me more determined to continue pursuing what I felt was right (as opposed to being told how I should behave)

Growing up I was told I should stop behaving like a boy because I played football, I was told I shouldn’t speak to boys outside of school because the community frowned upon it, I was not allowed to associate with my best friend because he wasn’t from the same ethnic background and not allowed to go to university because it would mean moving away from home. This was the reality of being a second generation Indian and fighting to understanding this culture clash...

My point is....You have one life so make it your best life. Dwelling on the past will only hinder your progress so use past mistakes as lessons for a better future. You may have a hundred doors close on you before that one opportunity presents itself...be patient and be ready to grab it with both hand

Two JT’s and one Elmo - in LA 2018

A year ago I attended a free event in Birmingham hosted by JTFoxx. I’d never heard of him, didn’t know much more than what I had read online and was a bit sceptical. I went along nonetheless just to see who this other ‘JT’ imposter was 😂!

My usual pattern is to listen to the morning session, be unimpressed and then to leave the event at lunchtime

This time it was different and I was engaged in everything that was being said. I signed up for a coaching package the same day and joined the JTFoxx Organisation. I say organisation but it has become the JTFoxx family in many respects. I have travelled globally, spoken my stuff on an international stage and met many celebrities who have shared their journeys to success

Here I felt like I was 10’years old again, posing with Elmo and reminiscing about Sesame Street

Opportunities present themselves at the most unexpected times and I have learned to become confident enough to take risks and embrace the ones that feel exciting. Thank you JT for all the opportunities that have come my way and the amazing people I have learned so much from along the way
