Year 8 students took their learning beyond the classroom this week, using anemometers on the playground to measure wind speed as part of their enquiry into whether Harborne Academy is a suitable site for a wind turbine. This hands-on investigation forms part of their Energy topic, giving students valuable experience of fieldwork.
