Welcome to BMet’s official page, your launchpad to career ready courses, vibrant campus life and endless opportunities across our colleges in Birmingham! • BMet is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, providing a wide range of education, training and apprenticeship courses across the West Midlands

• We are made up of three colleges; James Watt College in Great Barr, Matthew Boulton College, central Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield College. We also have education and training centre serving the local community in Erdington.

• We enrol around 20,000 students of all ages each year on a range of full, part time and higher education courses

• We work with local employers and businesses to deliver training, apprenticeships and work experience/placement opportunities for students.

Congratulations to Birmingham, which has won an International Green Apple Award for its internship programme delivered in partnership with BMet! 🍏

Recognised in the Property & Estate Management - CSR category, the programme helps young adults with disabilities build confidence and gain valuable workplace experience. 🏆

We’re especially proud of Daniel, a former BMet student and current Mailbox employee, who has been invited to the awards ceremony at the House of Lords later this month. 👏🌟
