Well done Year 12 on preparing for and running a VERY successful HOUSE FAIR today to raise money for charity! Our school was absolutely jam packed with students taking part in your events /games/sales today during lunchtime! What a brilliant atmosphere!


Well done to the staff who were brave enough yesterday to take on the Sixth Form vs Teachers UNI CHALLENGE Quiz at lunchtime! Here are a few highlights!


On Monday, 12 Y10’s visited Moseley Village Station. They spent the morning with VolkerFitzpatrick, finding about about the Camp Hill Railway line and the many careers on offer in the construction industry!


A big well done and thank you to all of our students who got up on stage yesterday lunchtime and performed musical acts to celebrate world culture! Your performances were excellent as usual!

A few more highlights from Year 10's recent Geography field trip to Carding Mill Valley in Shropshire. Thank you to the Geography department staff who support this trip and for taking such wonderful photos of our students at work in the outdoors!


The sports hall came alive today at lunchtime with a Staff v Student Dodgeball match! We have some very brave staff who were willing to play against some talented students! Well done everyone who took part! Sorry staff - the students won 3-1! It's the taking part that counts!

Today is International Women’s Day and here at Camp Hill year 8 students have asked if we could mark the day formally by wearing one purple item of clothing whilst making a donation to Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid (BSWA). Thank you for all your donations!


We raised £161.61 to support World Book Day’s work. Thank you again to everyone who purchased books yesterday in school!


Our kitchens came alive today with St. Patrick's Day themed decorations and food since this celebratory day is upcoming this March!


A HUGE Thank you to all of you who purchased books today this lunchtime!! We hope you enjoy reading them and will let you know how much money we raised in due course!


It's WORLD BOOK DAY today and we are holding a book sale in rooms 22 and 23 at lunchtime today - students and staff come along and grab a bargain! Be sure to look at classroom doors to see what books your teachers and support staff are reading!

Thank you to all of our exhibitors and spokespeople who have come to our school to set up stands and deliver sessions for our Year 12 Post 18 Day - our students gain such valuable information from this day which will help them with career pathways in the future.


Year 10 GCSE Geography students braved the cold this week to complete a river investigation in Carding Mill Valley, Shropshire. Their results will be used to investigate the changes to rivers along their profile and the impact on flooding in nearby Church Stretton.


Year 12 geographers visited Bristol harbourside to learn about regeneration and redevelopment. Their fieldwork skills involved questionaires, mapping techniques and environmental quality surveys, and will be a key A Level case study.

We had a vist from a roadshow team today teaching Year 7 and 8 students all about ! It was hugely interactive and linked very well to lessons and the students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. Thank you to the team who delivered this!


Ten students went to the Philosophon on Friday last week. The team did an excellent job competing against other foundation schools ! Thank you to staff facilitating this trip!


A number of Year 10 students are taking part in the Speak Out Challenge workshop and competition today, which encourages public speaking and helps grow confidence and communication skills in young people. Well done to all participating!


Our Humanities area of our library has expanded to 3 sections: Geography and Climate, Geography and Economics. Economics and Society, Economics and Politcs. Greek and Roman History for Fun, Women in Myths and Politics, Murder Mystery - fact and fiction. Pop in and take a look!


Some of our top-performing Yr11 students shared their revision tips and tools with their peers on Friday last week in a market-stall event at lunchtime. Lots of ideas for motivation, time management and embedding knowledge!


We are proud to announce that our school has won an FFT Attendance Award for Autumn 2023/2024. The awards are an acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of staff, pupils, parents and carers in achieving excellent attendance during the autumn term.


Y11 History students went on a trip to see The Doctors Show this week, a light-hearted play which tells the story of Health and Medicine in Britain since the Middle Ages.


Congratulations to Sathviga Gopinath in Year 8 who won prizes and a school award for winning the National Lorry Week Campaign 2024 by the Road Haulage Association. Well done!!


We listened to a very insightful assembly this morning about the importance of libraries and the importance of reading. World Book Day 2024 is coming up soon on the 7th March. Look out for more info on our related events and try and pop to your local library if you can to support them!
