Mental Health & Resilience Taster Session 🧡
Went well in Friday and we gave out some self help envelopes, spoke to some young people in the city and got a better understanding of ideas the community would want to take part in. 😃
Looking forward to the full programme to go live! 🚀 2026/27

Today our CEO attended The Great British Expo Great British Expo's Ltd in Birmingham and had such a productive day!
Spent the time networking with different business owners and professionals, with a focus on connecting with people in education, health, and government sectors—as that’s where I’m really looking to grow partnerships.
One of the highlights was listening to Denise O’Leary MBE, who shared some powerful advice on winning contracts and using awards to grow your business and credibility.
It’s always great to step out, meet new people, and come back with fresh ideas and motivation.
If you’re in education, health, or work within a local authority and would like to collaborate—feel free to message us!

Today I attended the Independent School Show (London) and had some really powerful conversations with parents, headteachers and other professionals.😃
What keeps coming up is this:
Children are struggling quietly.
Confidence and self esteem.
Online pressures outside of school life.
Emotional regulation.
Self-worth within society.
Schools care deeply — but many are overwhelmed trying to support wellbeing alongside everything else which can be challenging.😩
PSHE shouldn’t just be “a lesson on the timetable.”
It should actively help children:
• Understand their emotions
• Build resilience with reminder prompts for support through out the school day
• Develop identity and confidence
• Navigate the online world safely
Monitoring wellbeing early makes a difference before problems escalate.
I left feeling even more passionate about the work AW CIC is developing for young people aged 10–16 school environment.📚
The conversation around preventative support is growing — and it’s needed.😊

Children’s Mental Health Week (day 7) reminds us that wellbeing is not a one-off campaign — it is an ongoing commitment.
Supporting young people requires consistent emotional check-ins, strength-based language, healthy routines and accessible early intervention.
Sustainable impact happens when families, schools / home Ed and community organisations work together to prioritise prevention rather than crisis response.
As we move forward, what small but meaningful change can we commit to in our settings?

Feedback like this reminds us why early mental health intervention matters.⬇️
After one of our online psychology sessions, a young participant shared:
“Thank you for teaching us about stress. I’m very grateful and appreciate the time you gave us.”
Supporting children to understand stress, build emotional literacy, and develop coping strategies is essential for long-term wellbeing.
Proud of the impact our community-based psychology sessions are making 🧡
