Adam Mosque and Dawah Academy Birmingham UK is playing an integral part for the Muslim community. Since its establishment , it has continuously provided excellent religious, community, and educational services to the Muslim communities in Birmingham and beyond.
As part of our ongoing development, Adam Mosque has developed ‘Dawah Academy’, a newly branded educational and Dawah project, which will offer exciting models in Islamic education for children and adults.

Full Job Description
Imam for religious worker with experience of working with Adults and Children with a higher degree in Quranic studies. Must be a Hafiz of Quranwith an excellent understanding of Muslim education,
Responsibilities and Duties
To teach Quran to children and adults of all ages.
Lead prayers when required, and provide guidance in healthy living among communities
Work with Imam and lead Friday prayers, prepare and deliver sermons,
Supply pastoral care to the Mosque membership: visiting, calling and counseling members.
Supporting the Imam in delivering effective and supportive pastoral care (As described in Islamic Centre’s guidelines).
Working closely with the young children their parents and education committee.
Promotion and development of religious activities among people of the local Muslim community.
Performing other duties as required
Organize meeting and conferences, ensure good house keeping and order of the premise and office.

Qualifications and Skills
Must be a Hafiz of Quran
Preferred UK qualification & experience of teaching children in Islamic environment
Proficiency in Arabic & English languages both written and spoken. Preferably has IELTS scoring of 4 or better
Current CRB and Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
