METRONOMES

Metronomes are an essential practice tool for musicians and they can act as so much more than just a time-keeper. Using a metronome regularly can help to improve your internal pulse, give you sense of progress, and encourage you to practice those trickier areas more slowly, among many other things!

There are lots of metronome apps available to download on your phone (I use Pro Metronome), but I’d always advise having one next to the piano as phones can be a distraction from practice!

EXAM AND AUDITION COACHING AND ACCOMPANIMENT

I also offer a coaching and accompanying service for students taking music exams or preparing for auditions on all instruments and at any level.

The service includes:

Recording backing tracks for your pieces with at your tempo
Two coaching sessions before the exam/audition (In person or online depending on restrictions)
Accompaniment on the day
