Year 4 book club had their own WW2 inspired tea party this week, as we read the next few chapters of 'The Valley of Lost Secrets', which is set around the London evacuations, we enjoyed the mystery of who may be responsible for the skull in the tree!

On Thursday morning, Year 1 parents and carers were welcomed to a Spring themed workshop. During the workshop, everyone had the opportunity to participate in various Spring-themed activities together. The turnout was fantastic, and it was so lovely to see all the smiling faces.

For Commonwealth Day this week, we had an assembly explaining what Commonwealth Day is, which countries are part of the Commonwealth and learnt some key facts. As well as this, each class wore the flag colours of their chosen country from the Commonwealth.

Tulips celebrated Commonwealth Day by exploring the country Bangladesh. We were able to recognise some similarities and differences between life in this country and life in Bangladesh.

Cadbury have been intrigued by the stories of exotic fruit in our spine book 'The Boy at the Back of the Class', Miss Jeffs managed to track down a 'crown' Pomegranate and a Dragonfruit at the weekend. We loved looking at them and even braving having a taste!
