🦉Owl Babies by Martin Waddell 🦉
Pre-School have been reading Owl Babies which is a story to support, explore and normalize feelings of separation anxiety, fear, and worry, reassuring them that a parent's absence is temporary and they will always return. It helps build emotional intelligence, empathy, and coping mechanisms by showing the owlets' anxieties (Sarah, Percy, Bill) and their relief upon reunion, teaching that loved ones can be held in the mind even when not physically present. We then had the opportunity to produce our own Owl Baby to support and developmental benefits included -

Our World Book Day Potato Competition did not disappoint! 🥔
From spud-tacular book characters to some seriously creative potatoes, we were blown away by the effort and imagination. Who knew potatoes could have such great personalities?
