Yesterday, I enjoyed the company of a delightful couple Noel and Birgit. We spent a couple of hours perfecting the art of making dough. They produced two really nice breads and said the focaccia tasted amazing! We were so busy this I didn’t take many pictures 🙄.

This celebration Cake was collected yesterday and the feedback is that it was delicious! For a change, this Choc Cake was filled and covered with ganache. No butter cream. It’s so much easier to do but chocolate is so expensive! Do you like it?

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND TREATS! ✨

And a very warm welcome to all my lovely new followers who have joined me recently! 🥰 If you haven’t tried one of my bakes yet, this could be the perfect opportunity! 🧁❤️

I’ll be baking some treats for the Bank Holiday weekend:

🥐 Fruit/Plain Scones
🌸 Vanilla Floral Cupcakes

I’m also thinking of adding lemon drizzle slices and Bakewell Tarts if there’s enough interest.

I absolutely love it when I am asked to make this delicious lemon cake. It’s very zingy and filled and drizzled with my home-made lemon curd. I’ve also candied the lemon slices for decoration. What’s not to love!
