Amandine Painton - Life Coaching Empowering working mums over 40 to reclaim career-life balance and fulfilment

Hello! Hello! I am also a mum and a wife. It brings me joy and energizes me.

I am Amandine,
I am offering a safe, calming space to allow my clients to process their thoughts, feel more settled and focused on what they want to achieve. I am Amandine,

I am offering a safe, calming space to allow my clients to process their thoughts, feel more settled and focused on what they want to achieve. I am passionate about helping others uncover their strength and promote change to s

upport a happy and purposeful life. I am as a life coach as I am in life, calm, smiling, caring, honest and approachable. Until December 2020, I was a busy professional who grew her career in the pharmaceutical sector. I have lived the struggles of trying to juggle it all, while meeting my own high standards. I experienced burning out and recovering from it. During my own coaching journey, as I re-trained, I also discovered that I identify completely with the trait of the Highly Sensitive Person, which is found in about 20% of the population. This knowledge about me was extremely empowering and it is part of my mission to raise awareness around this trait. I have a natural curiosity and empathy towards others. When I first became a manager, I realized that I love working with people in a caring and supportive way, not just to reach their goals, but also to feel happy and fulfilled along the way. Thatโ€™s why I decided to become a life coach. I work with men and women who:

are ready to make positive changes in their life
want to be happy being their true and authentic selves
want help seeing their potential, grow their confidence
want help to learn about themselves, become aware of their strengths, manage what feels challenging
I offer a free chat prior to any coaching relationship to be agreed upon. Iโ€™d love for you to be in touch and just start by having a conversation about what life coaching could mean for you.

What if opening up to someone feels too exposing?

It's one of the most common unspoken fears. Possibly quite close to "will it work?", the "can I really say all of that out loud... to someone I barely know?" fear is real.

The answer is, when you find the right person: yes. And it feels nothing like you feared.

Here's how Linda described her experience:

"Amandine never makes you feel rushed, judged or vulnerable. Her composure means she can ask questions that get to the heart of the matter but never feel probing or intrusive.

She gently leads her clients towards a better understanding of themselves.

Generous and giving, she is amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of their spirit being soothed and healed."

I love that last line. Because that's exactly what I want for every single person I work with.

You don't have to have it all figured out before you reach out. You just need to feel ready enough to have a conversation.

Illness has a way of reshuffling your priorities overnight.

I've been under the weather for a few days and honestly, the last thing I feel like doing is writing content. And yet here I am! ๐Ÿ˜…

Before sitting down at my desk, I did pause though. I checked in with myself first. And I chose to show up because I made a commitment to myself to be consistent, and I don't want to break that.

It's an important reminder that getting ill is no one's fault. Not even yours for forgetting that extra layer that would have kept you warm as the weather changes, or pushing through when you knew you needed a bit of rest.

We can't change our past decisions. But when our body is talking so loudly that it forces you to stop, it's important to listen and make your next decisions accordingly.

More often than not, things can wait, or can be delegated. We are not letting anyone down but ourselves when we choose not to rest.

It's not an easy thing to give ourselves permission to stop. It's much easier to push through at the time... Short term gain, long term pain, if you ask me. Says me, still in burn-out recovery. ๐Ÿ˜„

Sometimes our bodies harshly make that decision for us. Over and out!

๐ŸŒฟ When did you last truly rest without guilt? What made it hard?

With August waving its goodbyes (until next year), we say hello to September!

This new month, signalling the end of the summer, has always felt like a second new year to me.

For some of us, with school aged children, it means: last few days of holidays, back to school preparations, getting back into routines... and often a little excitement of a fresh start ahead.

It can also bring a little anxiety, as with new beginnings come so much possibility... and not wanting to miss out.

Are you feeling this too?

So before the pace picks up again, sit with these questions.

First, put aside your September to-do list and let go of what didn't get done this summer.

How do you want to feel as you step into autumn? What matters most right now? What makes your heart sing?

As someone recently taught me, listen to your head, then your heart, then your gut as you read and consider your answers to those questions.

Thank you for that gem Priya (profile link in comments) ๐Ÿ™

Personally, I'm choosing: Clarity. Possibility. A little of that easy summer feeling carried forward. ๐ŸŒˆ

๐Ÿ‚ Drop me a comment, what does your September intention look like?

Do you talk yourself out of things before you've even given them a chance?

Many women I work with, do. The issue is not a lack of courage. Somewhere along the way, they stopped trusting their own judgement.

Tracey came to me feeling exactly that way. Her self-talk wasn't kind, self-doubt was crippling and she had stopped believing in what she was capable of.

Here's what she had to say after we worked together:

"I used to talk myself out of decisions, or play down what I'd actually achieved. You've pushed me to slow down, question those patterns, trust my own judgement, and recognise the big things I have accomplished. The belief I now have in myself, in what I'm doing and where I'm going, comes largely from working with you."

That shift, from self-doubt to self-trust, is available to you too, to all of us in fact.

If you've been talking yourself out of reaching out... that's worth noticing. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Nature has a way of putting things into perspective.

I spent a few days by the sea this August, and I came back with a feeling I want to keep for as long as I can.

A sense of freedom, of calm and of possibilities. It's easy to get back to our routines and forget what 'feeling good' feels like and just go through the motions until the next holiday.

What we don't realise is it takes conscious choices to cultivate those feelings and we deserve to feel them more than a few weeks each year.

That's what investing in yourself gives you. Not a luxury. A necessary act of self-love, that not only benefits you but also all those around you and the mission that drives you.

My birthday month offer closes on 31st August. I have one slot remaining for a coaching package at my current prices, with the OpenMind assessment included as a bonus.

If you've been thinking about it, wondering if now is the right time... the first step is just a conversation.

We call it taking control. But what if stripping things back is just survival dressed up as a plan?

I've noticed a pattern. In my work, in my own life, and in the lives of so many women around me.

The moment things get overwhelming, we go straight for the things that feel optional. The coaching session. The gym class. The lunch with a friend. The quiet hour we'd carved out for ourselves.

We tell ourselves we'll come back to them when things calm down.

But what I've come to understand is that those things aren't the extras. They're often the very things holding everything else together.

And the moment we need them most is almost always the moment we talk ourselves out of them.

Before you cancel that thing that's actually good for you, I'd love you to pause for just a moment. And ask yourself honestly: is removing this going to make things better? Or just feel more manageable for now?

There's a difference. And it's worth knowing which one you're choosing.

Nature doesn't rush. What if you didn't either?

We live in a world that rewards speed. Do more, move faster, get there quicker.

But here's what I've noticed. Rushing rarely gets us where we want to be any faster. It just leaves us more exhausted, more frustrated, and chasing a goalpost that keeps moving.

The sea doesn't apologise for taking its time. The tide comes in and out at its own pace.

What if you gave yourself the same permission?

Not to stop. Not to give up. Just to move at the pace that is actually sustainable for you.

๐ŸŒŠ What would going at your own pace look like for you today?

Have you ever said yes to something and immediately felt uneasy... but ignored it and carried on anyway?

When I looked across all five dimensions of my OpenmInd profile, a pattern became obvious. Combine going above and beyond, wanting to help and strong commitment... and you get someone who gives a lot. Often without asking: what's in it for me?

Not selfish. Just self-aware.

Even though our body often knows before our mind catches up, we are so good at overriding the signs it gives us.

In today's video, I share a simple 30-second practice to help you tune back in to yourself.

๐ŸŒฟ When did you last check in with your body rather than your to-do list?

A few months ago, I was invited to speak to a room full of people navigating some of life's hardest challenges. Here's what happened.

The Sequela Foundation supports people living with neurological conditions like MS, Parkinson's and stroke. When Anke, their Chair, invited me to their session, I wasn't sure what to expect. These people are dealing with so much, including physical pain and face different challenges than my usual clients.

I shared two simple but powerful tools.
The first was the concept of SMOG words, those everyday words like "should", "must" and "have to" that quietly sap our energy and motivation without us even noticing, and how to swap them for something kinder.

The second was a guided meditation, inviting the group to focus on the small, beautiful things in daily life. What we have. What we can do. And how to be just a little more gentle with ourselves.

Here's what Anke had to say afterwards:

You don't need to be in a one to one coaching programme to benefit from this kind of work. Sometimes a group session, with the right tools, brings the shift of perspective that was needed.

If you lead a team, run a group or organise events for women navigating change, I'd love to have a conversation about what's possible.
